Project 1: Big Yellow Shirt
I just finished my first ever garment! It's a McCall's pattern that was rated "easy" so I shudder to think what a difficult one would entail! There are lots of little problems, but I'm still very happy with it. I might even wear it tomorrow!
Congrats! Sewing is just like anything else - practice makes perfect. The best tip I ever got was "Go slow". Better to take an extra hour than waste your time altogether.

WOW! That is one awesome first attempt, I shudder to think what it would look like if I had tried it.
I can't wait till K-Mart sells them! I'll be buying one of every color. Kathy Lee must be one very happy lady today.
